Our gift idea for surfer number 1: our great ponchos. We are passionate kitesurfers, campers, skiers... athletes and have already tested the ponchos in numerous situations. We can confidently say that they are simply super practical, comfortable and fluffy. They dry you off perfectly and keep you warm. We ourselves always have this guide for Europe and worldwide in the car. It is simply super practical and nice to look for new spots and find out whether they are also suitable for you. Basically, at this point I can simply give you the recommendation to give a book as a present. There are some great surf related books out there and that's always a nice solid gift. Especially in our digitized world, it is always fun to read and leaf through books. Give away this 'experience'!

A board sock is also an ideal gift for a surfer. A surfer loves his board. It's the board that means 'the world' to him. That's why he's probably also happy when he can now protect it neatly and stylishly. We offer kiteboard and directional surf socks.

Browsing through the different maps from Awesome Maps is also worthwhile. It doesn't matter whether it's yoga, diving, hiking ... or just surfing - you're sure to find the right map. I myself had the kitesurf map under the Christmas tree two years ago and I was very happy. It has been hanging in my room ever since and I can take a look at it again before every trip or get inspiration. In addition, the Awesome Map comes in a nice roll that makes a great gift.

CHANGING MAT

Now for another Slice gift idea: the Neo Changing Mat and Tote Bag. We always had the problem after surfing: where to take off the wet neoprene so that it doesn't get so dirty and where to store it all. With the Changing Mat we have created a real alternative to the IKEA bag. With less than 20 € it is in a super pleasant price range for gifts. KEY SAFE

I promise you: this is a wonderful gift idea for surfers. To be honest, you would need a key safe for every session. How often have you hidden your keys somewhere weird, put them in your bag on the beach or somehow tried to keep them dry in your neo. All not as elegant as this combination lock for the car . At less than €20, this gift is also within a very acceptable price range for smaller gifts.

SURF SKATE

We have a Miller Surfskate ourselves and use it to train our skills from time to time when we can't be on the water. A nice alternative for all landlocked surfers to work on their skills in normal everyday life. The difference to a longboard/normal skateboard? Curves can be driven like on a real wave.

SURF JEWELRY

We are also total fans of surfer jewellery. I also dedicated a board to this passion on Pinterest . I just love being able to express in everyday life that I'm a surfer at heart. Then when I look down on my arm and see the wave, it encourages me to keep working on my dreams and goals so I can be back on the water soon. Such a bracelet or necklace is ideal as a gift, as the recipient will always wear it and think of you. We are currently in the process of adding another Surflifebalance chain to the shop.

SURFERSKIN SUN CREAM

Every surfer has had that classic 'first day on the water sunburn'. It just happens far too often that you don't apply lotion properly or even worse not at all and then go home as a red cancer. That would be the end of it if you gave this gift to your surfing buddy. There are several manufacturers for this, I personally got this practical Surfer Skin Stick as a gift and was super satisfied. These opaque zinc creams simply last much better than normal sunscreen and therefore provide optimal protection in the water.
